PLACE: Lanzarote island

6 days photographing Lanzarote island and discovering the work of Cesar Manrique. Take a picture in a way as Cesar painted!
- Arecife – lagoon, sunrise; Cesar Manrique Foundation; Teguise – inland, historical city; Timanfaya Park – volcanoes all around; Pico Alto – a charming coast village at sunset
- Jameos del Agua + Cueva de Los Verdes – stunning contrasts of white and blue areas in brownish-red lava; Cesar Manrique House Museum – I would like to live here…; Mirador del Rio – island of La Graciosa; Mirador de Guinate; Mirador de Ermita de las Nieves; Caleta de Famara – capture surfers at full speed over the waves at the shore against the backdrop of high cliffs
- Yiaza – another historic city connected to the vineyards in the central part of the island, El Grifo and La Geria; Caldera Colorada + El Golfo + Los Hervideros – or where the lava begins and where it ends and what colors frame it all; Salina de Janubio – a specific microregion, where sea salt was and still is mined
You should not forget:
Good mood! In terms of equipment – camera with manual selection of aperture and time, tripod and ideally transition and gray filters. Lots of memory space and spare camera battery.
